Just made the last payment on my L3800,woohoo!!!

I’d have to look at the hours but she still runs like a top. I’ve enjoyed every minute of operating time I’ve put on it.

Wish I would have got one many years earlier.

So if you’re on the fence about buying one and can afford it, go for it

Ben - Congratulations!!! Woo Hoo is right!!:D:cool:

I got the 0% in 2013, but still did my 60 month loan in 25. Probably not wise on a 0% loan, but I still REALLY liked making that last payment!

One thing to consider...if you had K Insurance before, you may want to make other provisions for something as valuable as your L3800.

Enjoy, and best wishes!!

I had the same thoughts too - pay it off early, then again WHY? Same money......

I too make my last payment in 6 months......what to do..........maybe dream of bigger things????? B's L's or M's........... naw....just dreamin':D!!!!

I did go by my local dealer, not where I bought my BX from but another dealer close by............never seen so many Kubotas in my life!!!! I bet there were 100 machines on the lot!;)

Ha!! - not to highjack Ben's thread, but I did look at B's early last year.......looked at B's driving by dealership this morning....but I'm tickled with what I got, just like Ben, and it's paid for!!

(See how I did that, worked it back to relevance to Ben's post :p!)

Thanks fellas. She isn’t going anywhere anytime soon.

I called about the Kubota insurance a couple months ago. I believe she said it would be $235 a year.?? Thats from memory so I might be off a few dollars but that’s close. I haven’t called my insurance agent yet. The lady I talked to said it still had a value of $15,000 or at least that’s what they would insure.

The dealer I bought from was bought out and I haven’t been to a dealer in a while but I drive by one everyday. Honestly, I haven’t even thought about replacing the L3800, yet.....

Not a smart thing... paying it off early. Since it's 0%... there's no benefit to you, paying it off. AND... you loose the "K" insurance. So, in fact... you are penalizing yourself.

I was originally going to pay mine early, just so I didn't have to think about it. But when I saw a post where the poster was mad, because they canceled the insurance... I told the wife... "DO NOT pay it off one second early !!"

I am always amazed how folks enjoy debt, and have many ways to justify it! But that's how most get into debt, creative justification. Delayed gratification is a thing seldom practiced.

Somewhere I remember reading, "a debtor is slave to the lender". I just never liked being a slave.

Congrats on freeing yourself!

I usually pay off debts early. I paid the minimum on my Kubota but during that time I paid off my mortgage and my ex... those were both huge woohoo moments. No mortgage payment,/ rent and a whole lot less drama ***128512;

I spent a couple hours on my L3800 yesterday mulching leaves with my finish mower. I noticed that it had 431 hrs when I parked it, so barely broke in in my eyes.

Also received a notice about the Kubota Insurance ending on dec 18th, the annual renewal will be $295 per year, I miss quoted earlier. That’s for coverage up to $18,500. I’m going to call my insurance agent tomorrow to see if they can get anywhere close to the same coverage at that cost.
