In search of a spacer plate for a hydraulic oil pump for a B2400 hydrostatic transmission. Part number 590 circled below. Took the pump apart to change the o-rings before re-assembling my tractor and found that it was damaged pretty badly. I can order the pump rotor assembly and outer housing but this spacer plate has been discontinued. I have been calling all around the country and cannot find one. If I can find a used one in good condition I'm more than will to purchase and pay to have it shipped. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Take it to a machine shop and see if they can make you one?

Or just resurface the old one?

That o ring and sealing surface would need to be accommodated if one was to machine that surface flat again

I was also thinking that.
Would a machine shop be the best place to get that done?
Yes.
But, as GSD-Keegan said, other surfaces might have to be addressed also.
Hard to tell from the pic, but if that is just a flat plate, it might be possible to recut the surface, deepen the o-ring groove, and possibly the cast recesses.
But all that might produce problems with the shaft length/protrusion.
And finally, whatever tore up that surface probably needs refinishing also.

Might be too big a can of worms....

Thanks for the replies on this. So far I have had no luck finding a replacement, new or used. I think at this point my only option is to resurface the spacer plate. The o-ring is actually sitting on a flat surface in this picture. The groove is on the mating cover so we are going to try and surface grind the plate, taking off the least amount af material possible. This is a flat surface other than the transfer ports cast, recessed into the plate.

From what I can tell, it looks like a piece of aluminum came off the mating cover and went through the pump. Some pieces also came off of the rotor. I am getting a new front cover and rotor and if I can resurface this piece, the entire pump would be rebuilt. The tractor was working fine before this but was leaking bad which is why I tore it apart. If I can clean the plate up and replace the other parts, I'll be happy with that.

You may want to have a chat with someone familiar with this process especially if you think the surface grinding will/may leave the part too thin.
