This is on the loaded of my B2650. It’s not holding anything. What’s the purpose of it? Why is it not tight?

They are mounting points for the option spill guard valve.
They put a short bolt in there to keep the treads clean.
Either leave it, tighten it, or remove it if it's bothering you. ;)

Wolfman, I still have that cylinder for the B7100. Whenever you’re passing by Riverside on the way to Spokane, swing on by & grab it!
