My daughter is interning for John Deere Financial this summer. I kept promising her that if they didn't give her coffee mug, I was going to buy her a kubota mug to use. She got a mug from deere. She also brought me home a nice cap. Is it cheating to wear a Deere hat when using a Kubota tractor?

YES! I just bought a new JD Mower an X380 and got a cap. NO way would I wear in the Orange unit.

I grew up with Red Tractors and never had a Deere... was partial to Chevys but not Fords (but later liked Fords, Toyotas, Hyundais) was too young to favor Indians over HD, but am fine wearing a Honda Cap, Indian shirt and Harley boots.. Times Change

Wear whatever you are comfortable in. It is not the hat that makes the tractor. I would like to know if she can direct us to the supplier of green and yellow under wear that the true John Deere lover has to have. I have Kubota, Deere, Honda, Exmark, Ariens, Husqvarna, Stihl, Homelite and some others so not exactly brand loyal here. Probably gonna need to stick with the fruit of the loom although I heard them laughing when I pulled on my briefs this morning.

I always take my 5 year old granddaughter and 7 year old grandson with me when I pick up parts around town. All the parts people know them. Last week I ask them if they would like to go to the Kubota dealership. It is their favorite. My granddaughter told my grandson to get his John Deere hat. She said when we wear our John Deere hat to the Kubota store we always get a new Kubota hat. It;s funny how kids figure things out so early in life.

I agree with Kurtee, colors and logo's do not make anyone smarter or their choice of equipment any better. I find it interesting that advertising is a very big and very expensive business, from billboards to tv commercials. Yet when people wear hats, shirts and shoes etc. emblazoned with brands, they are providing free advertising for that company. And by the way, America was never NOT great. Stating otherwise only advertises ignorance.

I think it's not cheating you can wear any cap and when you are riding or using a Kubota tractor.
