Is 1100 lbs too much for my L3000 DT Kubota tractor?

I am looking to buy a new Rotary cutter for my Kubota L3000 DT tractor. I want to buy the most heavy duty mower my tractor can handle, because I have lots of brush and small willow trees growing on my property. I have been looking at Woods BB 600x cutter that weighs in at 1069 lbs. I have a lot of hills on my place and was wondering if this is too much weight for my tractor and would this throw my center of gravity off. The manual for the tractor says my 3 point lift will go up to 1900lbs. I have also been looking at land Pride RCF 20 that weighs only about 690lbs.
What do you all recommend I buy here?

My inclination is to go lighter, I use an LP RCR2672 which weighs 1084 with my L5740 HSTC and without the FEL it gets really light in the front on much of an incline.

I have no experience with the L3800 and am just extrapolating from my experience, hopefully an actual owner can give you real world information.

It'll handle it fine, but like TripleR, I'd probably want lighter. That Land pride is a Nice mower!

If you have the owner's manual there will be a diagram showing the maximum weight at the end of the 3PH arms and the maximum weight of implements that should be attached (lists different weights for different implements in mine - assumes they knew center of gravity of implement).

I also agree with the others, a lot of weight sticking way off the back does nothing for your confidence if the front is light. You can balance that with front weights to some degree but only so much.

My primary concern with that much weight is even if the manual says it is OK, I find hills, especially steep ones really changes the dynamics and mowing across slopes get more uncomfortable really fast.

We had to go with a heavier 10' mower on another farm, went from a 2100 pounds to 2643 pounds and decided since we couldn't do anything about the weight, went with a pull type and the stability was much improved with a Case CX80 and M8540. On flat or rolling ground the 3PH version of this mower would have been fine.

Thanks everyone for your input, I have decided to go lighter and buy the Land Pride Cutter. I too think I will be happier with that one.

I don't think a L3000 would lift a 1100lb cutter. I run across round bales my 3000 won't handle and they don't hang out as far as the cutter would. It might lift 1900 at the lift point but 5' or 6' behind the tractor I don't see it.
