Thanks. it will be a nice little project to do. plan on installing a light bar with switch so at least doing the hour meter first I’ll kind of know what I’m doing for that.It's pretty easy to add a real hour meter, and not expensive. Then you have the best of both worlds. (Except I don't see any advantage to the mechanical version, other than cost saving to the manufacturer.)
