Good morning!

I want to introduce myself. My nickname is Holti and I come from Germany. Since my earliest childhood, I am interested in tractors. For many years I have been thinking about buying my own tractor. For German standards, we have a large garden of 6000 sqm. The gardens here in Germany are usually significantly less than 500 sqm in size. To maintain this garden is always more work. So I now also have a real reason for me to buy a tractor to assist ;)
At first I was interested in the somewhat smaller models such as the B1630, but I quickly realized that there is at least one must be 1830. I also plan to mount a hydraulic log splitter. Actual my choice has fallen on the B2530. This tractor has more horsepower and a much larger flow rate to the hydraulic pump.

I would like to use the Kubota only privately, but I also like working in the private sector with professional tools and machinery. I don`t need an enclosed cab for the tractor, even if it rains a lot at us. Otherwise, there are also jackets against rain and against the snow in winter. Another reason why I chose this model is that it is not too heavy and so I can still drive on the lawn without having problems with the grass.

Here's what I want to do with the tractor:
- Snow shoveling in the winter
- Driving with tipping trailer
- Use a hydraulic log splitter
- Gardening
- Landscaping
- take friends on the trailer to drive through the woods to have some beer :D

I have planned the following:
- Series B2530 vehicle with manual transmission
- No standart lawn tires but wide tires with a V-profile ( I don`t know the exact name, please have a look at the photos)
- Later, I still want to buy a front loader

I have a dump trailer of an empty weight of 750 kg has. The trailer has a gross vehicle weight of 3000kg.
My questions:

1. Is the Kubota B2530 is the right choice for what I intend?

2. What is the towing capacity?

3. Can I drive with my dump trailer without any problems? I would like to use my dump trailer and not loaded to 3000 kg, but perhaps up to 2000 kg. Is that possible?

4. What experience have you with Kubota B2530?

5. Is there soon a facelift or a technical revision of the current model of 2011? Should I just wait?

Thanks in advance!

With the best regards,
Holti

I don't have any advice for you, but I will say welcome to the forum, and that is one good looking set of tires on that Kubota!

I was thinking the same thing, I like the idea that they have a very aggressive tread yet maintain a wide flat profile, Lots of sugar sand where I am and the narrow aggressive tires dig big holes and burry themselves.
As for the B2530, I am not familiar with that particular model but I have 2 B series tractors a B7500HSD and a B5100E, Both are well built and dependable tractors and give a great return for the amount of money they cost.

Hello!

Thank you all for the replies!

Maybe someone do have the Kubota model B2530 and have some hints for me or can response my questions? That´ll be fine.

I`m living in the "Sauerland" here in Germany. I´m sure Carl knows this region with it`s nice landscapes, forests, lakes and.... rain, a lot of rain ;)

Regards,
Holti
