Most of the mini's now have knuckle booms (like a backhoe) to dig that way. However, I've never seen the "dump box" example. That was pretty neat.

Do you mean, angle the boom and angle the tracks, so you can dig close to something like a wall? If so, I do not think that is as effective as being able to offset the boom/stick like in the video. But yes it does work...
