Installing Lights on ROPS

Hello Everyone! I'm trying to decide which way to go to installing lights on my BX1860 tractor w/FEL. My tractor is equipped with a 40 amp alternator. I've been reading and getting ideas from other postings but still trying to figure out a set-up option. I want to run 2 trapezoid halogens forward and one flood light on the back. I would like to run separate switches for the front 2 and 1 for the rear. I was wondering if the rear taped wiring in the back of the tractor was a separate circuit from the 20 amp lighting fuse? If not then I was going to run 2-50 watt sealed beam halogens off the 20 amp circuit and tap into the 12 volt receptacle for the 50 watt rear light. I would like to tap into that 12 volt underneath rather than plug in a 12 volt power adapter.
I was also looking at the BXpanded Quick-On Work Light Kit. It looks like an easier install but a bit pricey and you still need an extra light for the rear which runs another $59. If anyone has ideas or maybe I'm going in the right direction with the first thought, I would be grateful to hear from some of you.

I went with the EXpand Quick lights and love them. Put them on my ROP - one faces front and the other faces rear. All kinds of light.

I just installed work lights on my L3830 last week they work great. I put 2 trapezoids to the front and 2 floods to the rear made my own mounting bracket as you can see in attatched photos I also installed seperate switches and fuse both front and back lights sepratly. I used Optronic lights great light for the money bought them at Oriely auto parts all 55 watt lights.... Dan[

Thank you Dave. I wanted to know how the EXpand Quick lights are connected to a power source of the tractor. My guess its at the rear connectors that are taped. I got an email from the salesman of this set-up that I could run 3 lights. I'm just not sure if all of that power needed from this connection is a little too much. That's why I was thinking of running 2 lights from the back splice and running the third one from another circuit. If your not running all of the lights together then you would probably have enough. There may be some instances where I would want to run all of the lights.
