Just got my fel. Bought it from coldwater in wa. state.$2200 delivered. Going to start putting it on tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Thanks. I bought it in March of 12. Put a new head gasket on all new fluids and a lot of other parts. I painted it last summer. I'll try to take pics and make comments as it goes. Hopefully just a day or two and it'll be done. I also made new front hub adapters so i can put new rims and tires on. I posted info and pics on that project in the tires section. Thanks again. Dang it sure is gettin cold in Michigan.
Keep us update one the loader from Coldwater and tell us what you think of it. Many members on here in the past have ordered and installed their loader but none of us know how well its held up or if its been worth while geeting a loader from Coldwater.

Just put most of the loader on. I'll post pics later. Tired. Had a little alignment problem and a few really rough bolts to thread on. Tomorrow i'll put the last bolt on and get ready to tap into the hydraulics. I'll try to keep updates on how it's holding up. 24 degrees right now. Warmest part of the day.
Got er done. Had a pinhole in one hydraulic line. After testing everything it all seems good. Here are a few pics. Considering it started out at 9 degrees and is 20 now everything seemed to warm up and work good.

Tractor looks great with the loader on there. I can't wait for you to put it to some good use and give us an idea of what you think. How was the over all install?
Installation went a lot better than i thought. The loader came with compression fittings to tap into the hydraulic line. I didn't have any access ti the hydraulics till i tapped in. I torqued everything it works great. I haven't really used it yet but come spring i have lots of stuff planned. I managed to do the install with just myself. I'm happy.
Thanks for the running report on your fel project. I just got a L245 and I am looking for a fel to add to it. Now that you have had yours on for a couple of months, can you give us some feedback on how it is working out? I don't know how much you have been able to work with it in these winter months but I know if it was me I would have to "play" with my new toy. Thanks for any info you can pass along.
