Those shoes look good. 
My blower came with the standard steel shoes and "puck" style skids that work together to keep the edge at the proper height and protect soft/thin steel from being worn away. I don't see any damage to the 9,000 sq.ft. of asphalt from the shoes I have after a few winters of blowing snow.
The shoes are reversible so it'll be a while before I need to look more closely at replacing them. I do need to get the asphalt resealed this year though.
