Help, im new to this forum and i pulled the bonehead move of running my l3130 fuel tank dry. I've bled the system several times but cannot get more thanks a weak flow to MY #2 cylinder, 1 and 3 are working just fine. The tractor runs but is weak. I've been told I need to replace the injector pump but I was wondering if there might be a less expensive way to repair this.

Crack the nut on No.2 injector at the pipe while the engine is running. Do them all to be sure. I expect you have a full fuel filter, no debris or water, and unrestricted flow to the filter?

I have done that several times. When I bleed the system. I can get #1 & #3 cylinders to flow like they should. But a weak flow in #2. The fuel bowl and filter is full and no water or debris in the system

Hello
Did you have a any problem before you ran it out of fuel ? Did you bleed it at the top of the injection pump or at the injectors ?

I bled the system at the injectors, it was runnig fine before this issue.
Looks like a new or rebuilt pump is going to be the fix. Thanks for the input, i really appreciate it.

Before you pull the injection pump out.
Do a fountain test, pull all three lines off the injection pump, set it to high and crank it, it should put out a 6 to 8 inch fountain out of each pump.
If it does lack on the fountain test that will truly tell you you have a pump issue.
If they are all the same then you have a injection line or injector issue.
If it ran good before ran it dry it's probably just some debris in the pump.

If you don't want to go through it yourself (they are a little tricky) send me a PM and I'll help you out. ;)
