One of the local pubs had these "burgers" before BK brought them out. I tried it once. Tasted ok, but within an hour I was hungry. For me it didn't last and with the price of them at the store, it is not a viable substitute for meat. Give me a good double cheeseburger with bacon and if I'm in the mood a nice fried egg.

I actually have a t-shirt I wear to the gym that reads:

"Every day, thousands of innocent plants are killed by vegetarians. Help end the violence. EAT BACON."

There's always a solution for the world's problems :)

Up here A&W have a plant based burger. Tim Hortons has a plant based breakfast sausage sandwich.

For instance beef comes from grass and water. Who can imagine how and what chemicals plants, beans, seeds are processed with to make them taste like beef, or sausage... Shudder....
