Reading some recent posts about attaching an SSQA to a rear mount quick hitch and then being able to throw things like pallet forks onto the back got me to thinking. I am still very new to the world of tractors. I have the above reference front mount quick hitch which was purchased for my L4479 74" snowblower. As it is a bit of PITA to take it on and off (getting the mid mount T pin's aligned can be a real challenge) I wondered what else I could use this hitch for. I could dump off the snowblower in between blizzards and do what???? I tried to search on possible uses and other implements and came up empty. Looking for any suggestions.

Thanks,
Kevin Barker

Uses of that hitch are:
Sweeper brush
Snow blower
Snow blade
Dozer blade
Snow pusher

That's about all I can think of.

Hey Wolfman - thanks for that feedback. I could see using a front blade where I am dealing with off road snow piles. Using my blower I can sometimes go to low and end up blowing rocks and dirt.
If anyone is interested I found a good Messicks video while I was searching this morning for a blade attachment for my tractor. Did not help me in terms of the search but does a good job of explaining how a front quick hitch works.
