Implements/attachments for zero turn mower

I've got a zd221 48" mower and I would like to buy a broadcast spreader for it. Any advice? I know there are plenty of pull behind models but I can't find any that work with zero turn mowers. Thanks.

I've got to ask, why wont they work on a zero turn?

They would work behind your ZD if you put a hitch on it. I built a hitch that I could swing and pin to either side just to pull a sweeper around. It works fine for that so could surely pull a spreader.

I was worried about consistency. How would you start and stop the fertilizer feed?

There is a handle just above the hopper that will open and close the gate. I am sure you could attach a extension to the handle in order to reach it from the mower seat without much work.
