We went through a good one last week..

Wife gets a call, Idaho number pops on her Cell phone, Agent Cisanaros US Drug Enforcement located in Boise ID leaves Idaho number for her to call back needs to talk to her about a case they are working..

She calls back but the call is lost He says "Let me get your case file" then she looses the call, calls him back again an official sounding message and she leaves the cell number which they have to contact her..

This phone tag goes on for 2 more days.. she is beside herself wondering WTH is going on

4th day she leaves a message for them to call me, which they do and the same deal with the lost call same message..

I do a reverse Lookup on the number, YMax Communications :confused:

I start calling in favors, to the Sherriff's Dept, here they give me contact numbers to Boise.. I contact them, as I am calling them the wife gets a phone call from "Agent Cisanaros" who tells her that the Diet Pills she ordered online 6 years ago came from the Dominican Rep. and that it is against US and Dominican laws for her to have done that.. She needs to either hire an International Lawyer to stop extradition or pay the $1000 fine at this time.. Now the pressure starts because she doesn't know I have found out this is a scam.. Luckily she knows better and says "I will talk with my husband and we will hire the lawyer" I get hold of her, and by this time she has already notified the Police where she works who are friends and they are calling "Agent Cisanaros" :)

The short story, the Idaho AG doesn't look into this stuff, nor does Local or County LEO's basically there is nothing they can do other then shut down the number which will be back up and running within an hour...

When you look at it in hindsight which is 20/20 you can see the set up, but after looking online and doing some research these types of Law Enforcement stings are very, very successful...
