Wow, great coverage across uses… nice mini-ex.
I have a backhoe for the tractor, and I used it a LOT before getting the mini-ex, but it is so amazing how much better the excavator is than the backhoe on the tractor...almost no comparison...but until you know, you don't know...maybe better not to know.

On the other hand, much faster to move the tractor/backhoe somewhere to get something done...life is a compromise...

So true. I had a backhoe for 5 years on the BX25D that was very useful, but as you say, it doesn't compare to the functionality of an excavator. Even if I could find a backhoe for the M6060 (discontinued), I'd rather put the money towards a 12,000lb excavator such as a Takeuchi TB350R or Kubota KX057-5. I could put a mulching head, hammer and various buckets to good use.

"how much better the excavator is...."
Please outline how you can move 10 yds. of crushed stone/loam/sand/wet feathers/etc. - 300ft, with a mini ex.
Or,.... pick up a pallet of anything.

Some excavators have a grading blade in the front of the tracks. Now, a question for you... Do you know the cubic measurement of a metric ton of wet feathers?

I’m jelly… thumb envy.
Yeah,....but I am envious of your M62.
Friend who knows nothing about such stuff, asked me to buy him a used M62 back in Sept.
I found him a really nice one, with 295 (not rental) hours, and with a thumb ($63,500).
The M62 has 17.58 ' reach.
I want one!

You would PUSH those wet feathers 300'..... with a mini-ex blade?
Now,..... YOU have "ruffled my feathers"! ;)

I be might not be in the running for the biggest Orange but I’m pretty sure I’m leading thus far in the smallest category.
