My ignition switch is loose and wouldn’t start. Thinking at first it was a battery issue I jumped my Kubota B2150 no problem but when I tried to turn it off, it wouldn’t turn off. Even when I disengaged the battery it still ran?? Has to flood engine to cut the power?? Noticed however when I took the console off to access the starter that even in plugged the power still doesn’t cut?? Any thoughts??

Diesel doesn't need the battery in order to run.
The engine shuts off when fuel is shut off, not by flooding the engine. Fuel shut off is by solenoid via ignition switch.

Not sure what you mean by a loose ignition switch, if the start part doesn't work maybe the stop part is also messed up.

There is a manual stop knob on the right side under the dash!
How could you flood it to stop it?
The only way to stop a diesel is cut fuel or air!
The switch being bad would make it where the stop solenoid is not getting engaged to shut it off.

The B2150 comes with both the manual pull lever which activates the cut off on the injection pump, there is also the fuel cut off solenoid and timer relay. Either your relay or solenoid is not working.
As above you can use the manual pull lever.

And the set up on the B2150 is an external fuel cut off solenoid which is activated when the relay no longer gets power, there is a capacitor that trickles out 12v over ten seconds.

It gets 12v constant, 12v switched, aground and then the pin that feeds the single wire that goes to the solenoid, the solenoid itself is ground when fitted. The trigger is when the switched 12v feed is stopped.
