What percentage of the population knew of him before this? I bet a lot more do now, so I’m guessing his viewership will increase, just to see what crazy stuff he may say, making him more money.

Personally, I hope this will set a precedent for the “actual” news agencies out there and what they report as fact’s.

The same people who think the earth is flat and the moon landing was a hoax. They used to listen to a late night AM radio program, too. I think it was called, "Coast to Coast". I would pick it up sometimes if I were out late at night. Incredibly stupid. But it paid well, I'm sure.


But again, this wasn't just spouting crazy stuff. It was specific accusations against specific people. Different ballgame.

These are good reasons why I think the civil suit & award is just crazy. Who in the world even listens to this guy. Not me.

The local cops & citizens should have made life for the harrassers miserable enough to go back to the rock they crawled out from under. If they were sent to harass by Jones then isn't this a criminal act ? In my state some of these morons might have had to confront " stand your ground " defense.
Why would a parent of a victim of this tragedy want to go thru the pain of a civil trial plus all the publicity this has received ? I wouldn't do it for any amount of money .

Alex Jones started in Austin TX. I was in College at the time (25 years or so ago). He was a quack then….and somehow he grew that network significantly. People are listening to him….ridiculous.
