I purchased a used crankshaft on ebay, then later realized that the pulley end was a different configuration than for my B7200HST. The splines are at the tip rather than threads at the tip. I have since bought the correct crankshaft, but now need to identify the first one in order to sell it. It was advertised as fitting a B7200, but that posting is no longer available and I cannot contact the seller. It's a great crankshaft, inspected, magnafluxed, and with crank and rod pins confirmed std. I need to find what machine(s) it might fit, or what the part number is.

I've looked up several tractors that the D950 came in and all of them show a crank will splines, How about a pic of your crank?
I would think it should have fit yours too?

Both crankshafts have splines, and threads; the issue is that they are reversed on one from the other. What I posted was the WRONG one for my B7200HSD; what I am posting here is the CORRECT one. I am thinking the other one is for a piece of Jacobsen, Onan, or Bobcat equipment? But I REALLY need the Kubota part number for it so I can sell it. If I need to, I will post a picture of both, side-by-side, zoomed in on the front (pulley) end. Again, I have the part number for the correct one (15752-23010)(this second one posted). I need the part number for the other one (first one posted).
Thanks for any assistance! By the way, most of the D950 crankshafts for sale online are the wrong one, but they don't post the part number.

If you purchased it on eBay and used Paypal to pay for it. You can get your money back from eBay whether you can contact the seller or not. eBay provides the money back guarantee if not listed correctly. Open a case and get your money back.

I bought it on eBay almost 2 years ago; it was not misrepresented, because evidently it does fits some variations of the B7200, as it was advertised. It was my mistake, not verifying the part number. And I almost made the same mistake again! I just don't have access to the other B7200 models to see which one it fits, and thus the part number. The D950 is used in lots of different equipment, thus the variations of the pulley end of the crankshaft.
Thanks for the suggestion anyway.

Yes please post both pictures.
I have a D950 that came out of a Jacobson mower and it was a direct fit to replace my D750 and it went in like a charm.

I have noticed there are some major variation to Kubota parts for marine use.

The wrong crankshaft (on the left) has the pulley end (extending from the front main bearing) with threads, and then splines on the end, and is longer.
The correct crankshaft (on the right) has the splines and then the threads at the end; and is the shorter one.
If anyone has a D950 that has the one on the left, could you please share the Kubota part number, or at the least what piece of equipment it is for?

Not all D950's are created equal! :p

And let me clarify one thing, the longer one will work it just has a keyed pulley instead of a splined pulley, the splines you see on the longer crankshaft (after the threads for the pulley nut) are for a front PTO drive where the shorter shaft doesn't have it.
Some Older B7100's didn't have the front PTO shaft attached, they used an adapter to add it for front hydraulic pump or even for some of the belt drive decks.

What your looking at is crankshaft on the left is a D950-A-DT for a B8200 at 19HP P/N 15532-23010
Also the same crankshaft as the D950 out of a Jacobson at 21.5hp.

Yours, the crankshaft on the left is a D950 (no suffix) for a B7200 at 17hp P/N 15752-23010

This EBay listing is right for a B7200:

This EBay listing is wrong for a B7200 but right for a B8200:

and this one:

Thank you! I wish there was an encyclopedia of early B-Series subcompact Kubota tractors and the engines. They are great machines, and easy to work on. But lots of non-Kubota applications (including marine and generator). Says a lot about the quality of the power plant.
