I wonder if new made in China Kubota's could be imported.

Every time I walk into a Harbor Freight store I think how would we survive without tools from China. Used to be made in the US Craftsman tools from Sears. But they couldn't compete due to politics and bribery from offshore nations. There's only one way to stop this.
I inherited a lot of tools from my dad. Nearly all Craftsman. All made in the USA. Many are older than I am. I have no doubt that my daughter will inherit them from me. However, I don't see the Chinesium tools that I have lasting through me. Much less my grandkids.

I'll chime in about the imports.
Most of the imports are the same as what you get here, but there are some copycats re-badged and sold as originals. But you probably will be OK even at the reduced pricing. But there is a caveat that many of the suppliers won't admit until you twist their arms a bit.
Let's say you buy a Kubota tractor for a fraction of the value from China.
When it gets to the US customs....the declared value is the actual value, in other words MSRP and not what you paid for it. And you pay import customs, tariffs and regulatory fees based on that MSRP. That can add up to about 20% to 30% of that MSRP added to your purchase price. And if the machine is not USA EPA approved.....the seller would have added an upgrade to to the engine to make it....for an additional cost.
So yes, you can save money, get something that works and may be OK.
Until you need parts......some parts in the USA will be interchangeable....some just won't be available.

That looks scarily similar but much crappier than my Mexican M7040D. No cylinders on the 3-point, no hydraulic inverser etc. That said, the front axle, counter weight mount, hood, floor, fuel tank, fenders and 4x4 leaver look identical. Hopefully nothing on my tractor is Chinese.
