N.Y,
Our son, DIL, and grandkids have it now. We had to put off Christmas until next weekend. Apparently it was bad in schools just before Christmas recess started. First time the wife and I didn't get flu shots because we both had bad reactions to last years shots, so avoiding public places and crowds at this point. Thank God for Amazon.

I have had every shot that has been recommended and there hasn't been a year that went by without getting the flu shot in early fall. I still have a runny nose and a cough. I stopped to pick up some items my wife wants to get out of the way before she is discharged from rehab at the end of the week. Today I started setting up her new bedroom in the living room although she thinks that she will not need it. Time will tell.

Thanks for not posting a pic before the wash
I'm not going to go into details; however, a friend many years ago recommended Dreft Laundry Stain Remover to my wife. It has removed grease, blood, and just about anything else from our clothes. I once got black grease on an expensive white dress shirt, and my wife was ready to kill me. It took it out, and there was no evidence left behind. It is sold in the baby aisle at Walmart and is about $3.00 for a 16-ounce bottle. Buy your wife a bottle or better yet, use it on the stain before you throw it into the laundry and save yourself some aggravation.

oh boy this reminds me

while back I ate at a restraurant (which I normally don't do much of). Good food. Got home, started feeling kinda bad. Lower belly started aching. Took some tums, was fine for the most part. 15 minutes later I had to RUN to the bathroom. From then on it was to the toilet every 30 minutes or so. Drink water, goes right through. Well I got the bug.

Next morning after very little sleep, I figured I outta go see the doc. Appt made, called the boss & said I ain't gonna make it. Went to the Dr office, sat down, waited. Took em about 5 min, called me in and I told the nurse what was going on. Doc came in and I explained it again. Oh, you got that bug. Looked me over, asked a bunch of questions, had to be salmonella (according to him) and said he's get me an Rx for something to plug me up. Great. Said he'd be back in a minute. I'm watching the clock and my backside is feeling, uh, uneasy. Yeah uneasy. Waited, waited, and with NO warning, out it came. Nothing could stop it. Oh crap now what. I ran down the hall holding my britches kinda tight so it didn't just go running out all over the place, asked where the bathroom was, and the nurse points over yonder, so I walked quickly (ran) in there, cleaned up, went back to the exam room and then the doc walks in and hands me the written Rx. Worst part, I just bought a new (to me) pickup truck and was PROUD of it. went outside to get in and realized that the stink ain't gonna go away til I change clothes. Only thing I had to sit on was a life jacket that I leave behind the seat of the truck so I got it out, sat on it and drove home to change.

That was a rough, and slightly embarrassing day to say the least. Glad I got through it though!!

y'all get well soon. Happy new year
