Long story short.... my perfectly good B2410 stock seat is not doing my back and legs any favors these days. I am looking for some advice.... I have been checking out the MILSCO V5300 mechanical seat for replacement from Seat-Warehouse.com ... It is a little pricey however I am going to have to do something... I appreciate any and all suggestions

You know you you have to do something when the back hurts so bad you don't want to dismount the machine to get beer....

mmmmm.....
well.....
either you load UP the tractor WITH beer before you get on......
HAVE your FRIDGE outside with auto opening door .....like a drive through......

seriously, go and find a good air/spring seat - EVEN it does cost some $$$$$ - I know, dont want to spend the money - but dayum, a bad back keeps you from doing anything fun!!!!

this one is a little cheaper - and for the money, if it helps ......do it!!! YOU will spend 10x seeing a doctor about a messed up back!

That seat you linked to looks really good. If I put that on my tractor I think that I would never get off the tractor, except for beer.:)

Stop suffering and spend money on a good quality air ride seat and don't look back. OEM Kubota seats are brutal.

Go with as much suspension travel as you can comfortably fit in your machine.

I recently put a grammar air seat base on my zero turn and I wish I did it years ago. Air suspensions are easier and quicker to adjust while using your machine and I think provider a much softer ride and is less jarring on the back.

My shoulder hurts, from splitting too much firewood, and I can't even lift a beer to drink it. I'm thinking about one of those 'beer hats'.

Thought I'd share the shop spec of the Milsco V5300 seat that I am going to install on our B2410. I watched Paul Short install a similar Grammar seat on his BX. To do it right it was a major operation... worth the watch (You Tube.... Specialty Repairs). So here is my shop drawing...

By the way... does someone know "S.I.P" stands for... it appears to be the center of something...

Sip- seat in position? No idea. So Paul it appears you will have to fabricate a seat base for the new seat to function?

I am betting the SIP designation shows the location of the built in safety cut off switch...
