It was bound to happen :(
I have a leak on my front axle
It would appear to be coming from the boot/shield location

Please note this is not my tractor pictured. I found it on Google.

Thats a neat idea of what you show in the picture.....a little protection on the joint. A piece of PVC or anything else like shown would work well.

How many hours on your machine? How bad is the leak? Not sure how that seal is applied.

There are allot of hard to soft hose connections on the frame directly above the axle, wipe them all down and watch for the leak. Tighten up the offending connection.

Hokie: There is a constant drip of 1-2 drips per second. She has 720ish hours on her. I like the idea of the guard as well.

Not a step: I went to the shop and started to feel around the frame. Guess what??????? Yup you guessed it.....IT WAS WET with hydro fluid  :( Thank you for telling me to look elsewhere than where I thought it was :)

I guess it is time to remove the grill guard and engine shroud.....
