I forgot to release hydraulic pressure when disconnecting my BX23S backhoe. What do I do now?

Loosen a coupler end enough to release the fluid pressure from the temperature-change-induced locking of the fittings of the backhoe, or FEL has gotten me too.
After damaging a coupler and having to replace it when I tried the hammering down the seal-ball method to release the pressure, I simply get a couple wrenches and loosen a fitting end enough to release it.

Those are WAY too pricy.,.....even for my arthritic hands.

When I hear about others with arthritic hands I can sympathize for sure. My 70 yo ones in the last three years have had several operations for trigger finger etc, and in march had a knuckle replacement on the right index. Today I hooked up my grapple hoses with a lot less pain!
