Hydrolics fading after they get hot

Hello everyone,
I have had a problem with my L235dt for some time now but it seems to be getting worse. When cold the tractor has great lifting ability with the 3pt and the loader. After using the tractor for awhile I cant pick up a bucket of dirt and the 3pt is also weak.

Is this a sign of a pump going bad ?


it has new filter and new oil - so that s not it

Not to be a smart ars but did you put the correct weight oil back in the tranny?

It is a L235dt -power steering- with a 1200 loader on it.

I am running udt fluid in it.

Should I run something else ?

It was one of the last ones made according to the serial number. 1985 or late 1984

Should I just run 30 weight oil in it ? The trans/ rear/ loader all run off the same fluid.

It has a spin on filter not a screen and I have replaced that several time already.

Let me know what you guys think about the oil
