Had fluid come out through the curved tube by the hydrolic filler cap behind the toolbox under the seat. Had been
Using the front end loader and backhoe pretty hard. Any ideas?

Is the fluid the correct type and at the correct level? Was it foamy when it leaked? Over or under full can cause aeration and expansion. A suction side leak before the hydraulic pump will also cause foaming either at o-rings or the short suction hose. If it was milky that would indicate water and cause the same problem.

What machine do you have????????

The B7500 in your profile, or should we guess?

If a B7500, the curved tube is the vent. If so, there' could be something drawing air into the system, and causing cavitation and a bunch of air. Could be a low pressure hydraulic line with a crack in it.
