Was mid way though lifting some sand when the bucket stopped lifting (was maybe an inch off the ground)

Couldn't lift 3ph or tilt bucket

I can drop 3ph and bucket though

Is my pump fubar? Any diagnostics I can go through?

Is it worth dropping the oil to check the screen, or is that unlikely?

Thanks

I've had a hydraulic quick connect come undone while using the tractor. Might make sure they are connected by disconnecting and reconnecting them.

Sounds like you could have damage the drive to the pump.
You can loosen the high pressure line and check for any flow.

Yep the lower side is the high pressure, if your getting nothing from that line, you either have a pump, pump drive, or suction line issue. :(

My suggestion would be check fluid levels and if that is good, clean up around the pump really good and then pull the pump and check the drive on the pump.

Bingo, took off pump, pinion was sheared in two...

Any idea how to get this thing open? Hex heads on the front wouldn't even budge with impact driver

They can be real tough, might try chilling the pump down put it in a plastic bag and then in the freezer for a day or so.
Then quickly pull it out and try hitting it with the impact again.

Sadly you might just have to spring for a new pump for it. :(

There's a small chance that I have one of those pumps. Can you take a picture of the back side showing the part number?

ETA: Didn't notice OP's location. NIW is right, shipping cost to Australia would be gnarly.
