A 21"-31" working length should work well for you.
I'm sure something close and you will be good to go.
You can probably get by with a 2" dia cylinder, but I recommend a 2 1/2" unit with a 1 1/2" dia rod.

I have an L3301, and got my hydraulic top link from Agri-Supply. I wanted a top link capable of “float”. Accordingly, my valve allows for float, and my cylinder does not have a check valve.
You can also get a top link hydraulic cylinder with a check valve.
The best hydraulic cylinders available are custom made by Fit Rite Hydraulics. You might want to look on his website; there is a lot of good info there.

Kubota has a needlessly pricy option. I went to Amazon for my L5460 top link:

FitRite Hydraulics - pricey but well worth it. Biggest drawback is time, probable at least 30 weeks out, but the demand and wait time tells you how good they are.

I just installed a hydraulic top link on my L3560 a couple weeks ago. I contacted Agrisupply, and they sent me a helpful email indicating the best model for my tractor. I ordered through Agrisupply, and the hydraulic top link arrived in 3 days, it was easy to install, and it works perfectly.

I picked up the Kubota top and tilt kit from messicks.com. I love it. it's worth the money.... at least for me.
I found this on AMAZON for $250 and it includes the hoses and fittings. IT IS AWESOME! It's a game changer for working with my blades and rake.....

I'd add the larger diameter the better. Also recommend a locking block model. Why? If you have a brush hog lifted for transport down the road, it will gradually work its way down due to the momentum generated when you hit bumps. That's a lot of torque that translates to pull on the cylinder.

This top link is therefore equipped with a locking block. With this valve, the oil is enclosed in the cylinder by a check valve. Only when there is oil pressure from the tractor again does the valve open and the cylinder can be adjusted.

I got mine from Fit Right Hydraulics and the wait was worth it, I've had it for several years now and it works GREAT!
Look at the following link and determine what will work best for you from what is readily available.
Ideally mid stroke has the implement close to level front-back.
For your application, I normally recommend a cat 1-2 unit built using a 2 1/2" dia cylinder with a 1 1/2" dia rod having a working length of 23 1/4"- 35 1/4". You will most likely be better served having a check valve on the unit to prevent cylinder drifting.
I don't believe that you will find this unit as an off-the-shelf unit. Maybe you can find something close without too many compromises.
