Leafy England....
hi all
I finally managed to get my b6000 loader sorted out, took me a bit more cash than expceted but it was worth it (i think).
I fitted a new spool with 2 new lift rams (now double acting) and modified the the bucket ram setup to use just 1 single centre mounted ram, and it works fantastic except for a small niggle, its a bit slow, nothing i cant live with, but a bit more speed would just be the icing on the cake.

My question to you guys is this, the standard B6000 hydraulic pump is rated at 10.8 ltrs/min with a pressure of 1200PSI and from my limited research so far its a pretty standard type of gear pump, and i shouldbe able to source a replacement pump to the same fittings spec as the kubota item, but if i use a 15ltr/min item (if it will fitin the space etc) will it be to much now or will be be ok.
any helpwould be really nice .
cheers
rob

Just wondering, but what are your cycle times? How many seconds does it take take for full travel? May not be as slow as you think compared to others.

thanks for the reply, as far as cycle times go here's what i have determined.
lift rams at half throttle 12 seconds for full travel either way ( with bucket full or empty) and bucket ram (single) 6 secs . both are approx but pretty accurate.

I still think its a bit slow , what do you think.
