As described in a previous post, I have slow hydraulics on my b6200. Question is, is the pump rebuildable? The dealer didn't list a rebuild kit, only a new pump for $470. I looked at the schematic and it looks like mostly o rings. But I'm not sure if o rings will make a difference since the pump gears will not be new. Has anyone rebuilt one and had perform better ?

Do you have a company in your area that specializes in hydraulics. You can probably google it. They might be able to help depending on the brand. I have pto driven hydraulic water pumps at work, the dealer that makes the unit has no clue where to get a rebuild for the pto pump, and like your experience only sells replacement pumps. But the local hydraulic specialist can rebuild them and can supply the kits. Just make sure if it's a gear driven pump, that they put the guts in the right direction ;) have had a couple of rebuilds that i've had to spin the guts around in cause they were pumping backwards :)

Unless your pump has rebuildable end caps it can't be rebuilt. The gears are only part of where the wear occurs. The biggest wear item is the end caps.

Most can't be rebuilt. Our old L3750 needs a pump and the dealer said no to a
rebuild. New pump for it is $1100.

Thanks for all the info. I think I'll try and find a local hydraulics shop and see what they can do with it. I don't really feel like shelling out nearly $500 for a pump. Not to mention I don't have the 500 bucks. At least the pump is still functioning, just not to my satisfaction, so whatever I do can wait while I save some cash for it.
