Hi,
I did an hydraulic oil change including both filters on my M5700(has a front loader on it). All was working fine before the hydraulic oil change. Now after I did the change none of the hydraulic are working?
Did I drain out too much? Does it need to be primed, and how would I do that? Is their air that's not letting it work?

Thank You

Lots of questions here:

did what you place in more/less equal what came out?

Do not think you need to prime.........

how long did you let it "run" before seeing that it did not work?

any strange noises when you fired it up?

Gonna ask the bid dumb question.....plug is in ?:)

oil type going back in ?

Some models do vapor lock you might need to loosen the high pressure line at the pump to get it to prime.

Did you use Kubota filters?
And what fluid did you use?

I put in the proper fluid until the middle of the dip stick
When I let it drain I had to leave in the middle so it drained over night.
the filter used is 2 new Kubota filters.

It worked well before the hydraulic oil change, but after the change hydraulics just doesn't work. (tractor drives fine)
No unusual noises that I seam to hear

maybe it needs a prime. How do I do that on this model?
or maybe it's vapor locked. How do I change that?
THank you

Is the power steering working?
If it is then half of the system is working and you have fluid getting to the pumps.
If you don't have power steering, then fluid is not getting to the pumps.

If you do have power steering, try running the loader up and down and operate the three point controls up and down, that should burp the air lock out.

Try taking the fill cap off while the engine is running, see if it primes. If it does, the transmission vent is plugged.

You may be able to remove the pipe on top of pump, pour hydraulic fluid into pump, replace pipe and see if it now works.

Thanks for all the replies.
I think my hydraulic pump must have gone. How hard is it to change the pump on an M5700?
Have you performed any of the test suggested by others above and what was the result?

The likely hood of the pump just going out is very very low.

It's a twin pump, it has 2 sections, one for three point / loader and one for power steering.

If you have neither power steering or three point / Loader operation you have a suction problem.
Most likely a bad filter or a bad seated filter allowing it to suck air.

Hi,
Thank for all the help
I tried just about all the advice
The power steering isn't working
Air filters are new and tight
fill cap idea isn't making a difference

The only thing I didn't try is removing the pipe on top of the pump and pouring fluid in.
If someone can explain exactly where the pump is located that would be very helpful, and exactly which pipe to remove and add fluid into. when trying to located it , I was not able to locate it

Thanks again for all your continues help
