Has anyone ever heard of this happening? The other day as I was checking the hydraulic oil on my B3200.
I removed the dipstick , oil came rushing out, it came out just like a water drinking fountain, quickly I reinserted the dipstick.
I started the tractor let it warm up for 5 minutes, cycled everything, the loader, backhoe, and outriggers several times, turned it off and let
it settle down for a few minutes, rechecked the hydraulic oil
again, same thing happened now I have two oil spots on the concrete floor.
I called both the dealer and the factory rep, they both tried to help as much as they could, said to cycle
everything as there is probably air in the lines and that may remove it and to call them back.
So out back again and try to cycle everything again only longer, but the same thing occurred a third time.
Now I needed a rest, so over to the T.V. chair and a cup of hot coffee, that’s when “the brain Fa#@.” Hit me,
Why not check the oil fill hole? I said to myself ,I ran outside and pried off the rubber cap, and I heard a hissing sound, like a vacuum being released
, something like opening a sealed can of coffee. I knew then
and there that vacuum was causing the oil surge, I was right , when I checked the oil again it was Normal,
just like nothing has happened, everything was OK.
So my question is ,what is going on? what caused this ? By the way, It happened again this morning
,but my being a wise old buzzard I knew just what to do this time, How do I prevent it from happening again?
