Hydraulic Oil Change

Can anyone help me? I'm going to change the Hydraulic Oil on my Kubota 245DT. I want to make sure how many drain Plugs to look for? how many gallons of oil does it take with a loader?

24qts..if its 4wd / 23qts if 2wd if im incorrect , im sure someone will tell you ,

You have 4 drain plugs and a filter.one drain plug on the transmission , one on the drop box ere the 4X4 shaft comes out.On the rear you have 2 more , one on each finial drive housing. They take a 14MM wrench.You also have a filter that is cleanable.It is located on the side of the rear end housing under the left hand step. You will see a small cover with 2 12MM head bolts. Remove cover and spring and pull filter out.

I new the transmission and the two on the drive housing. the fourth one is the one I needed confirmation the one on the 4x4 shaft. thanks again.

That is going to save me a 4 hour round trip to go find out on my tractor. I was planning on changing the oil last week but didn't had the correct size, it was a lost trip. I will go this weekend to do the oil change.

I have a bx 1800 with loader and also do my gear oil. I have been using UDT fluid from dealer which is a 60 mile drive, Is there a substitute. I do don't want to risk damage but would like to have an option. Thanks not trying to hijack thread.
