Turned tractor off after mowing and pulled dipstick right away and noticed the hydraulic fluid was foaming. It dissipated in 10 seconds. Is this normal to have this happen? Bx2380.
Kubota fluid and filters.are you using the correct fluid and not some special secret recipe
Do you mean by the time the fluid gets to the suction is with the tractor running?Yes, quite normal.
By the time the fluid gets to the suction the bubbles have dispersed.
Yup.Do you mean by the time the fluid gets to the suction is with the tractor running?
YepDo you mean by the time the fluid gets to the suction is with the tractor running?
Just normal operation of a gear pump, gears in the transmission and the way fluid is moved it entrains air into it.Out of curiosity what causes this to occur?
Thank you for the explnation. I'm trying to better understand hydrolics and there is a lot to learn.Just normal operation of a gear pump, gears in the transmission and the way fluid is moved it entrains air into it.
This is why the suction is on the bottom and why there is so much fluid in the system.
