I can’t find an aftermarket hydraulic oil filter replacement for my Kubota m126gx, any suggestions??? Just don’t want to pay $100+ if there’s an alternative.

Sure you can go with an off brand filter.

Makes a stock, proper filter look good doesn't it:

See if Baldwin can cross your filter number. (Phone # 308-237-9763)
Baldwin filters HQ is located in Kearney, NB.
They are very high quality industrial/farm equipment filter maker.
Baldwin apparently makes filters for CAT.

This is 2024 not 1944 we use the Internet to get exact answers instantly without making a "Phone call" to some place in Canada that you would rather not call and talk to!

A choice you have is to purchase a filter that has the same threads and looks the same and save a bunch of money...... then when the hyd. pressure causes the filter to fail start over with correct factory filter and correct fluid. And hope you have no damages.

Kearney, is in NE, not NB.....my abbreviation error, .....though NE might also be confused with New England.
The folks at Baldwin are known to be very helpful, while the "internet" is just another totally impersonal source of canned information.

Filters and fluids for some reason, are about as explosive a subject as politics/religion.

Strangely, I use Wix filters for my truck, Wally world filters for the old lady's van, but oddly enough I personally use Yamaha filters for my boat and Kubota OEM filters from the dealer and have never checked into an aftermarket alternative.
