I have a 2007 bx2350. I changed fluids and filter in October2016 and a few days ago while tilling the garden the seal blew out of my hydro filter and was blowing out fluid. I changed filter and fluid and started back up. I ran it for about 15 mins and then shut it down. Went back the next day started it up and as I drove to the garden I saw a trail of hydraulic fluid behind me. I looked underneath and saw fluid coming out the seal of the filter again. My dip stick never came out and it's clean. Also I pulled the relief valve and it was clean as well. Oh and when I changed the new filter I pulled the screen at the bottom of transmission and it was clean as well. when I pulled the relief I saw a plug inside but couldn't get it out. Can someone possible tell me what's going on? Help please!

I know this might seem silly but are you sure you got the old one out before you put the new filter on?

As you are aware, this happens! Doubled up gaskets can result in a blow out or leak. Also damaged gaskets, threads, or defective filters. The op's machine is too new for the problem I had several years ago, but here is why you can't discount defective filters :
2002 L3410 in winter, about zero fahrenheit. HST Filter blew out dumping at least a gallon of oil. Replace filter, next cold start the new filter also blows out. Turns out Kubota had a published TSB for the filter only one state north of me, requiring an updated filter. I had to show the dealer the TSB, but after seeing it they came out and replaced the filter and fluid.

Thanks for the feedback y'all! Not silly questions bc sometimes it's the smallest things we miss. Anyway no the filter was not double sealed. I'm using the kubota filter HHK20-36990. I also noticed this morning that my fan that cools the transmission has no blades left on it. I just ordered that part. so do y'all think it could have just been over heating that caused the seal to blow out? I would think so if it was running for a while but not on the cold start. Keep in mind I'm in south Louisiana and we have not had a winter at all this year. Temp was around 65-70 degrees on that cold start. Once again thanks for the feed backs

My application was not a bx machine. The filter I had issues with was widely used on the L series tractors, and has been updated several times since then (about 2010). I have come across topics dealing with the bx series fans here also, but I doubt that is related to your filter issue.
