Rear Remote Dust Caps
Lost one of the dust caps for the rear remote on my MX6000. Size? Part number? Appreciate it.

The couplers are 1/2" ISO 5675 and they should have come with OEM plugs.
That is the body size of the coupler not the physical diameter of the plug. How did you determine the plugs you have are 1/2" ?

The plugs that I had said 1/2” on the box and I tried them and they were too small. I measured the remote inside diameter and it was 7/8 or almost 1”. I measured the rubber plug and it was 1/2”.Thank you for the help

As you have discovered a dust plug for a 1/2" coupler is way bigger than 1/2" in diameter.. The labeling on your box and/or what was actually inside it is very suspect.

I bought them along time ago and I don’t remember what for. I was going to order some and I was trying to figure out what size to order. I called my dealer and asked if they were supposed to come with the remote and they said no but they would give me some. I went to TSC and the one’s they had were all labeled 1/2”. My Ford 6640 remotes have factory covers but they need replaced and they are the same size remotes as my L3560. I guess I will see what the dealer gives me and go from there. Again thank you for your help

The OEM plugs for the Kubita remotes are made specifically for their block mounted ciuplers and are nicer than a generic rubber plug.

That’s great news hope that is what my dealer will have to give me. Now I just have to figure out which ones to get for my 6640 ford. Thank you

The Ford OEM couplers on the 6640 tractor were Snap-tite 6800 series and the 1/2" body size interchanges with a standard ISO 5675 coupler. Same plug that fits your Kubota will fit them.
