My problem is getting them unhooked from the tractor. It doesn't matter if it's running or not. Even shutting it down and relieving the pressure doesn't help. It's all I can do to get the lines out of the coupler. It's not the tractor side because everything else I hook to this set of remotes does fine. Only thing that's different from any other implement is the male end.

The poppet or ball would have nothing to do with retaining the couplers, I suspect it's just an off-brand with "loose" tolerances that's giving you issues.

Could be the problem. I don't know what brand they are. They were on the baler when I bought it. The rest of the line on my other implements have ball type and don't give me any issues. I'm going to change them before this hay season and see what it will do with new ones.
