I have an F2100 and the control lever to lift the front hydraulics works but doesn't return to center when released.
If I push it forward it stays there until I pull it back to center, the same thing when I pull it back. It seems a little stiff too.
Anyone have any ideas ?

Looking at the parts diagram it looks like the F2100 valve is equipped with a detent.

Likely to hold the valve in a float position while mowing but I do not know your machine.

In the attached screen shot I have marked the ball bearings #170 and spring #180 that make up the detent.

These components can get rusty or fail leading to erratic valve operation.

Wait until someone who know these machines posts before ripping the detent off.

Thanks... i was looking at that diagram on the Kubota site. Just didn't want to take that area apart just in case it was the wrong area and i opened a can of worms. My machine has a dual control on the hydraulics. The second one has quick connects that I assume ran some other implement, it works fine. I originally thought of just moving the front lift to that control but the lines are metal and wouldn't reach. I would prefer to fix the one that isn't working in case I want to attach something else to the front.

Like you said, Maybe someone who owns one will comment before I rip it apart. Thanks for your input.
