Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai (HT-HH) volcano eruption be causing the extreme weather being seen around the world?

idiots up here finally figured out , if you add enough salt to a lake, the lake 'dies'.....
the salt was from 'snow clearing operations, where 1,000s of trucsk dumped their salt laden road snow into a lake....

meanwhile the 5.6% drop in CO2 seen in the past 2 years has done diddlysquat to help the World....

meanwhile the drop in co2 from automobiles specifically has dropped dramatically in the last 20 or so years. But we still have a climate emergency. EV is not going to change that; and in fact I think EV is going to bring as many problems as it solves so you're really just trading one set of problems for another with a net zero gain. Then they'll find some other way to dupe the Americans out of some more money.

It seems that some of the effects of the eruption are already beginning to manifest themselves in the Southern Hemisphere. And also, it might agree with the Farmer's Almanac that there will be a cold Winter coming. It is an interesting article.

Interesting. Because NASA predicted it would warm the earth. Opposing theories...go figure.

Don't you just love the conflict reports. I think the difference may lie in where you are looking at the temps. My understanding that surface temps will initially rise because of trapping the heat while the stratosphere starts to cool due to blocking solar radiation from all the moisture.

The big question is which will win in the end. Since the best the scientist can do is look at past data, it appears that the next couple of years may be cooler overall.

Yet again, tweak the model(s) a little and you can get a completely different outcome.

It also depends on who is funding the study. Lol. Follow the money.
I always find it so amusing that "Scientists" think they know so much (and some really do) but often overlook the common sense side of things. Especially since anything having to do with the Earth and space is an educated guess based on old data. There is no way to account for a solar anomaly that affects the climate. Or a comet that smashes into the moon. Every time we think we know sooo much, the good Lord shows us how much we have to learn.

1883 Eruption of Krakatoa - Effects - Global Climate
Global Climate
In the year following the eruption, average global temperatures fell by as much as 1.2 °C (2.2 °F). Weather patterns continued to be chaotic for years, and temperatures did not return to normal until 1888. The eruption injected an unusually large amount of sulfur dioxide (SO2) gas high into the stratosphere, which was subsequently transported by high-level winds all over the planet. This led to a global increase in sulfuric acid (H2SO4) concentration in high-level cirrus clouds. The resulting increase in cloud reflectivity (or albedo) would reflect more incoming light from the sun than usual, and cool the entire planet until the suspended sulfur fell to the ground as acid precipitation.

Hunga Tonga-Hunga Ha’apai, an underwater volcano in the South Pacific, created sound waves heard as far as Alaska 6,200 miles away when it erupted on January 15. Researchers say the eruption was ‘on a par’ with Krakatoa, and the biggest explosion ever recorded by modern geophysical equipment.

So you see, it aint no thang. It has happend before and will do so again and we will live through it, or not

Volcano eruptions and the ash they spew does cause climate change. This goes into politics though where government wants everyone to think humans cause more pollution by far so therefore we need to be controlled. It's difficult to determine climate change, but my 2 cents is there are many factors involved. It's NOT just a volcano erupting, but it's also not just factories and cars blowing smoke either.
