Hello, I have a 2012 l45 loader backhoe with around 700 hours on it. The problem I am having is after the tractor reaches normal operating temp I begin to have forward and reverse issues. The tractor will start jumping forward and often the reverse will completely stop working. I took it to a Kubota shop, after almost a month they had made no progress and racked up nearly 5 grand in shop hours. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, you should be really sore in a certain body part area. It is at the wrong shop.
You said a Kubota shop; it this a Kubota dealer familiar with your model tractor? My local dealer is clueless about the M size tractors so I would never use them for major repairs. Like mine, yours may know the mowers and B series machines really well but not much else. Sure sounds that way.

What the heck did the Kubota Dealership do to it that cost you $5000 and didnt fix the problem? I'd report them to anyone that would listen. BBB, Small claims court, Judge Judy.

They said they were, it was a dealer, and the bill was hours and they fixed a charging issue that I didn't know existed. Would really like to figure out the problem, it runs so we'll for about 30 mins.

They racked up 50 or more hours and still don't have a clue? I'd be complaining to Kubota about that dealer.

How has the maintenance been on that transmission? Fluids and filters changed regularly?

While an issue with the charge pump fits your symptoms I wonder if $5000 would've been better spent on a new charge pump or complete Xmission replacement.

Charge pump, I'll check into that. Another thing I thought was strange, it sounds like the engine is under a load when you are lowering the loader bucket. I'm not super familiar with hydro systems but I wouldn't think it would require much force to lower it.
