Okay I am creating thread drift now but…

Why is the 99.44% a commonly used value for purity? I recall there was a song that used at about “pure love” but that came from what/why that number?

MC was the poster girl for 99.44% purity. Who didnt want some of that

from what i recall.....Ivory soap started it. Big legal issue to say 100%, then it's gets tested and it's not 100%. back then, 50s, you couldn't measure to .0000000001 like today, so Ivory was safe from lawsuits !
