HST creeping adjustment issue

I'm having an issue with my 2022 BX23S with 80 hours. Tractor creeps backward when letting up on the pedal also when jacked up. I've tried the procedure in the manual, jack up tractor, remove right rear wheel, loosen the bolt...but I can't get the bracket to move. What is the trick? I have the bolt almost falling out. I've tried tapping it, prying a bit. It only needs moved a tiny bit. I'm afraid the thing is going to fall off or loose the spot completely. The slot in the bracket has grooves or teeth, is it cogged or something. Any help greatly appreciated.

May I suggest greasing the treadle pedal…it might fix your proble.

From the other thread it looks like you must pull the bolt fairly far out, then adjust the position and then reinstall the bolt. Is this what you are trying to adjust?

If so, there appears to be two washers at the bolt head (180). The washer nearest the bolt head has a tang (protrusion) that goes into the slots of the lever (200). It must be pulled back away from the lever (200), then slide lever, install tang and tighten the bolt.

Lever (200) may be rusted at the other bolt or to lever (160) so I would loosen the other bolt and spray both contact areas with penetrating oil (PB Blaster or such)

I see what you are saying. The WSM is useless on this adjustment, why would it not give more details? It does say to only loosen the bolt two turns so the nut does not fall off the back. Like you are saying, it looks like you have to loosen 2 bolts. Thanks for the advice. I will try this later today. First I'm going to grease the zerk under the floor mat, probably has never been done, then lube everything with PBB. Looking closer to the drawing I believe those "tangs" are really lock washers. I think the lever needs to move ever so slightly, the slots or grooves are far apart and would result in a big move of the lever.

You’re welcome; the OM says to grease it every 50 hours…I prefer to grease it at the FEL frequency of every 10 hours, I have found that if I wait until 50 hours my BX creeps forward ever so slightly.

So I greased the treadle pedal zerk under the mat, thankful for the access flap, and shot PB blaster on every point that pivots with the pedal and linkage. It looks like I will have to adjust the neutral position lever on the neutral switch. If anybody has done that some advice would be greatly appreciated. Tractor stops when I let off the pedal going forward but still creeps in reverse. I don't know f it's related but every time I push the pedal in reverse the tractor stalls for a second, this is on flat ground.

No I'm in the seat when it happens. I added a couple of layers of thick mounting tape to contact the switch, haven't tried it yet. I see where people say to adjust the switch but there is no adjustment. Apparently nobody here has actually adjusted the HST neutral switch lever, I'm going in to a Kubota dealer soon and ask one of their mechanics how to do it.

hmm, that young a tractor should still have some warranty on it ?

you seem to have two different problems

1) 'creeping backwards ' foot off pedal

2) engine shutting off when in reverse.

#1 is mechanical, #2 electrical

adjust the switch but there is no adjustment.

Loosen the two mounting screws and see if the mounting holes are slots as the switch could be moved closer or farther from the contact plate.

Welded, not adjustable. Forced to jerry rig 3 pieces of mounting tape. I weigh 185 but apparently not enough to make the switch work 100%.

You asked about how to adjust the HST switch, not the seat switch.

The conversation was about both issues, you replied to my comment about the seat switch and even quoted it. The HST switch contacts a lever that pivots. Manual says to loosen the "one bolt" that is in a slot and "move the lever until the wheel stops." See previous diagrams. Loosened bolt but lever does not move, even when prying on it. Looks like nobody here as ever adjusted this and probably just took it in to their dealer.
