How to make money?

there is a couple people around here that deliver dirt/rock, they give out my # to move it, as a BX can get into places that bigger tractors can't. I also do yard work, as leveling and seeding.

With a grader blade and york rake I have used my B tractor (a BX would work similarly just a bit slower) for installing small gravel driveways (lots of people have kids that get cars and live at home and they outgrow their driveway quickly). Get a dump trailer or pay to have the gravel delivered, excavate a few inches and lay down some nice process. Most contractors don't want to mess with "little" jobs like that but there is some serious cash and profit to be found in jobs like that.
Another good cash job is to spread mulch or topsoil. People get it delivered and it sits in a pile. Its either a ton of weekends to spread it around, or a few hours with a BX. Most people don't mind throwing you a few hundred to spread a tri-axle of dirt or mulch and if you know what you're doing, you can make $50-100 per hour doing that for them.
Lastly, buying a bush hog or flail mower and knocking down overgrown fields is another good cash job that people without tractors are willing to pay to have done.
I've made a good buck doing side jobs with my B9200 over the years and with a simple ad in Craigslist you can likely have more work than you can handle in most areas of the US.

I'm not actively seeking to make money from tractor work, but I've made some & done a lot of bartering & trading with neighbors for small tractor jobs- leveling, moving fill & gravel, digging holes for planting trees, etc.. The most work has come from people who found out I have forks- seems everyone has something to move….. small pallets of landscape material, large rollaways & toolboxes, washer/dryers, freezers, engine blocks & car parts, etc.. Never advertised, just word of mouth. As Biildog350 says, if I did advertise, I'd probably have to turn down work.
