I have a Kubota model L3130 2wd manual transmission and am wanting to add additional hydraulic options for a backhoe attachment and possibly a front end loader. In looking around for possible install kits it's easy to get confused as to exactly what is needed or best suited for my unit. I am mechanically inclined and any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Wayne Bryant

For a loader or backhoe you tap into the hydraulic system at the hydraulic outlet block. You would need the outlet adapter plate for the block: 7J266-68113 - $33 plus shipping at Messicks.

The rest is appropriate hoses to connect whatever valves come with the loader and backhoe to the outlet block.

Thanks so much for the quick response and I will definitely look into this!
If you don't already have a WorkShop Manual, there's a free download available at Kubotabooks. The Hydraulic section has a diagram of the system. The diagrams below from WR Long show various ways you can hook up from the adapter plate TheOldHokie mentioned.

The important principle with these open center systems is to have an open flow path, i.e. not dead-ended.

You will find it cheaper and easier and more desirable to buy a machine with the features you want than to try and add a loader and backhoe to your 2WD machine.
