How large a bush hog will my B7100 gear handle?

I have a possible line on a bush hog that I might be able to score cheap, but I'm not sure what my B7100 will handle. It was used behind a larger (than my B7100) green tractor, and appears to be a 48"-50". Just trying to find out if it's practical before I pursue it farther. I'd appreciate some input.
Thanks in advance.

I had a 4' behind my 7100. If you have a loader it will work okay but if not you'll be very light in the front. Power wise it did fine in most situations.

That was my guess, and I do have a loader. Now if I can convince the owner's heirs that I need it more than they do, especially since the old man has passed & the tractor has been sold.

Thanks for the visual confirmation! The folks I need to talk to seem to be out of town.

I an using a 48" on my B7100 w/o a loader, just a little weight on the front and it almost feel a little small.

I have a neighbor who had a 5' or 6' that needed some deck repair for sale. They are down in the valley near you right now and not sure if it is still available. Will call them later today. Can't find the photo right now.

Update - Just called and it was sold pretty cheap.

Four footers usually bring a little more than a 5 ft. because the 4ft. is rarer. Lots of old fords used the 5 ft. stuff. The equipment left behind after the tractor is sold can be had cheap as the equipment is in the way and hard to move with no tractor. Auction this weekend is prime example the people selling had to pay someone with a bobcat to come in and get it set up outside the barns. Good Luck but be first in line.
