Seat bolted in on the B2601.. Yeah my long, old not so bendy legs, could us another 2 or 3 inches of foot room. So I was wondering if any one had a blow up of how the seat is set to the lower bracket. My thought is maybe a couple pieces of 1/8 flat stock or maybe just drilling some new holes in the existing plate. So I am asking before I begin with reckless disreguard

The lever under will not allow any more room backwards?

If you were to move the seat back a few inches from the current max, would the loader control still be comfortable to operate?

I've done something to the seat on every tractor I've owned. Could be none of this is directly applicable to your seat, but maybe it'll get your creative juices flowing.

Below are the mods for the B7500 and the L4240. The B7500 was kind of cramped. The seat wouldn't travel enough for comfort. For that one, it was a set of adjustable bent angles to remount the seat higher and back a bit farther.

The L3200 felt like the seat really wanted to dump me forward. The vinyl seat made it worse. I raised the front of the seat, similar to the pictures of the longer bolts pictured on the L4240.

The L4240 felt like it needed a slightly raised front. It was fairly easy to add longer bolts and adjust it to suit. The combination of the cloth seat and having it canted back slightly make it very comfortable.

Please be real careful removing it !! Dang seat on my BX23S is a LOT heavier than it looks and a 'challenge' to get OFF the tractor...

Like Chim, I changed out my OEM seat in the cab tractor, well, I added an air ride swivel base and kept the Grammer seat as it's comfortable. I did change the seat entirely on the open station, the stock vinyl butt sweater was terrible and the vinyl was torn. it got a new Cordura set with K&M suspension and the OEM edition went to the curb and vanished in about 1/2 hour. It was extremely heavy too. Whomever took it must have thought it was a deal. it wasn't worth beans.
