i have a 1995 l35 with 1558 hours i just replaced all the hydraulic lines and now i need to replace the dry clutch. i understand that to replace it you need to split the tractor in half i am a good mechanic and i know i can do it
but do i want to? how many hours am i looking at what should i be worried about?

Thanks a ton!

For the average mechanic it should take you about 2 to 3 hours to split it.

I have owned several L-35s. I wish Kubota had continued building it. I have repalce a couple of clutches in them. As Wolfman said 2-3 hours to split it. That is only if you are mechanically inclined and work pretty quickly. There is a LOT to remove. It always took me much longer to put it back together. I finally quit doing clutch jobs on them when my dealer gave me a great price for the job. Have you asked anyone for a price. I wish Wolfman lived close enough to do my Kubota stuff.
