Not sure when spring arrived in northern Nevada because we never had winter this year. Last night the Reno news reported that they'd broken the high temperature records for 8 days in a row. Not just broken but in some cases annihilated. Like broke the old record by 10 degrees or so. Temperatures are running 20 - 30 degrees above normal.
I had to make a trip to Reno yesterday - something I hate to do. Nearest city to me - but it is a 350 mile round trip which makes for a long day. But I still say Reno, especially at this time of year, is one of the prettiest cities in the country. Took this pic when I walked out of a store yesterday mid-morning. 80 degrees where I was - and snow capped mountains (with ski runs) a short distance away.
